A range of specialist equipment from Kennards Groundcare were used by Naturewise Landscape Management to renovate the 15,000 sqm of lawns at the Sydney Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The project, which was carried out in spring, was designed to have the site in peak condition for the church’s Christmas celebration, featuring thousands of lights, a life-size nativity scene and carols singing.

Kennards Groundcare equipment used on the job included a tractor and three attachments - dethatcher, Aera-vator and top dresser. A manual self-propelled lawn corer was used on small areas.

"We use Kennards because they are the best in the industry," says Nathan Mitchell from Naturewise. "They are the most reliable, have good staff and if you have a problem they are straight out."

Naturewise carried out a similar renovation last year and the results were so good, they were not only awarded the full-time contract, but they also received inquiries about caring for other large grounds.
