PLANTWORLD says Buxus Microphylla Japonica, commonly known as a Japanese Box Hedge is a suitable hedge plant which can grow to 2m.

According to Plantworld, an Australian online supplier of trees shrubs and groundcover, the Japanese Box Hedge is an evergreen shrub with small glossy green oval dense foliage. Available in 14cm pots it can tolerate frost and dry conditions.

The plant is said to grow to half a metre in around three to four years depending on conditions, if planted from the 14cm pot in a full sun or part shade position.

Plantworld says the Japanese Box Hedge requires pruning only twice a year and for a 14cm pot it recommends the plants to be spaced three to four per metre.

The company delivers daily to Australia's Sydney metro and surrounding suburbs. It can also deliver to Canberra, Sydney, North Sydney, Hornsby, Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, Blue Mountains, Western suburbs, Southern Highlands.
