New funding to upgrade facilities at Zonhoven Park has been appointed to encourage visitors to spend longer in the Gayndah region.
The $50,000 in funding for North Burnett Regional Council is part of the State Government's $1.8 million Minor Tourism Infrastructure Grants Program.
The funding will be used to replace the existing public facilities at the park, with a new amenities block with toilets, showers and disabled access.
Zonhoven Park is located on the banks of the Burnett River in Queensland.
